Chamber of Commerce - Founded in 1925, the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce isa membership organization dedicated to the promotion, education and general welfare of its business members and the Troy community - Call 636-462-8769 or visit www.troyonthemove.com. Community Concert Band - Open to anyone of at least high school age, with regular availability for concerts/rehearsals, be able to read music and an interest in sharing the joy of music with the community. - Call Lincoln County Music Supply at 636-528-5744. Convention & Visitors Bureau - Funded by the City of Troy 5% Hotel/Motel sales tax. - City of Troy contracts the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce to disburse/manage - Restricted by Missouri State Statute that all monies must by used to market/promote tourism in Troy. - Grants available to assist local event advertising/promotional efforts. - Call 636-462-8769 or www.troycvb.com. Elks Lodge #2805 - Meets the 1st/3rd Wednesdays of each month at 541 Second Street, Troy at 7:30 pm. - Open to men/women interested in joining a charitable, fraternal organization devoted to helping veterans, children and their fellow man. - Contact Charlie Smith at 636-528-2078. Evening Quilters - Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 pm at Friedens UCC, Moscow Mills - Hands-on quilt club that makes new projects monthly as well as quilts for various charities. - Contact Karen Brown at 636-528-8355.

Babysteps Life Minstry/Outreach - BabySteps Life Ministry is a community outreach organization created to assist teen and young moms by providing practical assistance with basic baby essentials. - Offer support groups as well as parenting classes to help young moms get through this difficult time in life - Contact Diane Cockrell at 636-368-5737. - Encompasses no religious creed. Members are free to state their religious beliefs and the role those beliefs have played in their life and grief journeys. - Contact Cindy Morris at 636-462-9961 - Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 pm at First Christian Church, 1302 Boone Street, Troy. - Siblings/Friends of Troy Group also meets during this time. Bright Futures of Lincoln County Bereaved Parents of the USA - Offers support, understanding, encouragement and hope to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents

Allowing students and teachers to focus on education and achieving success - Donated items can be dropped off at Central office from 7am-4:30pm. 951 West College, Troy MO. Monetary donations are to be made out to Lincoln County R-III Education Foundation with Bright Futures in the memo.
